From agent to international supplier

Hd packaging started over 50 years ago through the collaboration between Mr. de Hoogh and Mr. Verduijn. They knew each other from the glass industry and quickly saw the advantages of plastic. In 1971, they founded Hoogduin Verpakkingen BV, initially acting as agents for German producers in the Benelux market. After various participations in production companies, the business grew into an independent supplier of plastic bottles and closures.

Today, the second generation leads hd packaging. Although the direction of our services evolves with the times, our DNA remains the same. As a customer, you can count on expertise, a broad and reliable network of factories, a collection of our own molds, and personal contact. All our colleagues share a passion for the product and attention to each other and our clients. We value a pleasant working environment where everyone feels appreciated and comfortable. Employees stay with us for years, retaining knowledge and experience in-house. In 2012, we also founded our sister company plasticflessen.nl to serve customers with small orders.

A high standard that’s anything but standard

At hd packaging, we have our own warehouse, renowned partner factories, and a modern distribution center in the north of the Netherlands. Customers praise our extensive range of standard molds for different markets, produced in-house. But we also recognize that the market is constantly evolving. New products emerge, customer desires change, and trends evolve. That’s why we invest each year in new series of plastic bottles. For customers who want to stand out visually on the shelves, we design innovative custom molds. We thoroughly analyze what the bottle design requires.

We look at unique brand values, the (in)visible needs of the end user, factory requirements, logistical conditions, production demands, competition, market developments, and innovation needs. With mood boards and positioning boards, we clearly visualize the design’s look and feel. This way, we give our customers complete control over the design process. We also take responsibility towards society by offering workplace opportunities in our warehouse for people distanced from the labor market, under the guidance of experienced coaches. Additionally, we support small charities, various sports events, the local judo and kickboxing school, and the Christian event InSight Kerst. Sustainability is also a key pillar, and we started using recycled materials early on.
