| The Basic Rectangle is a rectangular plastic bottle series with timeless design. The crystal-clear properties of the PET material allow maximum product visibility. The rectangular bottles with angular shoulders and flat top come with various standard neck parts such as 28.410. Different closures can be fitted to these, such as: screw cap with/without polycone sealer, flip-top, disc-top, spray and dispenser pump. REACH, BPA, ISO
All raw materials that we use for not recycled products are approved raw materials according to various European and American regulations, which may come into contact with food products. The most common terms are REACH, Bisphenol A (BPA), and ISO.
REACH
Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) is a regulation of the European Union, EC No. 1907/2006. These regulation requires the registration of chemicals. The Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) is part of REACH. According to statements of our production partners and our current knowledge, substances mentioned in the Candidate List of SVHC for Authorization are not present in concentrations above 0.1% w/w in the products we offer and are not made from recycled material.
Bisphenol-A (BPA)
Bisphenol-A is a substance that is/was used in many different products. With regard to packaging, it can occur in products made of, for example, Polycarbonate or PVC products, we do not offer both types. BPA is on the SVHC list which is linked to the REACH statement and is therefore regulated in the EU. The raw materials used by our production partners are free of BPA according to the statements of our production partners and our current knowledge. ISO ISO is a worldwide name for recording/documenting quality standards. In addition to the ISO, a country can also impose its own standard, such as the NEN inspections in the Netherlands. Almost all our production partners are ISO 9001:2015 compliant and many have ISO-5001 Energy Management.
PET
Recycled PETE or Polyethylene terephthalate (Recycled PET) is a fairly hard and transparent plastic with a glossy surface. R-PET has a very good water and oxygen barrier and is very crack and fall resistant. R-PET is therefore often used for bottles containing fizzy drinks. R-PET is well resistant to alcohol and essential oils and generally also resistant to a broad spectrum of chemicals. R-PET is not suitable for strongly acid and alkaline products. Suitable for food. Heat resistant up to around 60ºC. Material density (gr/cm³): 1.36
Rectangle
Our rectangular bottles basically have the same idea as the oval bottles, they are flat and wide. Looking at the bottom, a rectangular bottle is more with straight corners and straight sides. This allows these models to be used even more for specific purposes. Our Mailbox Rectangle, for example, is a series specially made to fit through a letterbox. Just like the other rectangular bottles, this letterbox bottle is ideal to pack without losing space.
